Serenity at Stringfield

Our Home Construction Process

Building Your Story in a
Scenic Setting

At Serenity at Stringfield, building a home is personal. It’s about creating a space that reflects you and maximizing our Granite Mountain setting. Technically Serenity lots are 1.5 acres or less and offer sweeping mountain and high-desert views. We’re minutes from downtown Prescott, yet our community feels secluded and peaceful. To honor this balance, we’ve developed a semi-custom home construction process in Prescott that combines discipline with inspiration, guiding you step by step while keeping your lifestyle and surroundings at the center.

Step 1: Pre‑Construction Orientation & Homesite Tour

01

Every great home starts with understanding the land. At our first milestone, we confirm your floor plan and elevation, review selections and change orders, and discuss sun exposure, privacy, and views. Then we walk your homesite so you can see the terrain, feel the space, and imagine how your home will frame Granite Mountain. Every detail is documented to ensure a shared vision before construction starts.

Step 2: Framing & Systems Installation

02

After the frame and roof are up, we install systems that support your home for decades. Electrical layouts and lighting follow your approved plans, and HVAC is engineered for Prescott’s climate. Plumbing rough-ins, smart-home pre-wiring, and structural blocking are finished for long-term serviceability. We use ENERGY STAR principles, high-performance insulation, dual-pane glass, and efficient heating and cooling, so your home stays comfortable through hot summers and crisp winters without excess energy use. This integration ensures reliability and efficiency from day one.

Step 3: Pre‑Drywall Walkthrough

03

Before drywall installation, we invite you to walk through and verify every detail. Together, we check electrical outlets, data ports, plumbing fixtures, HVAC vents, flooring transitions, tile patterns, cabinet layouts, and driveway grading. This step protects quality and gives you confidence that nothing is hidden or overlooked.

Step 4: Interior and exterior finishes

04

With the structure complete, we bring your vision to life through the installation of your selected interior and exterior finishes, executed with exceptional craftsmanship and rigorous quality control.

Step 5: New Home Orientation

05

A few days before closing, we walk you through your home, room by room. You’ll learn how every mechanical system works and review your warranty coverage. We note any final adjustments and schedule post‑closing reviews to ensure your home continues to perform at a high level. Our process is designed not for speed but for quality and trust, knowing your home is built right.

Experience Elevated Living at Granite Mountain

Throughout this journey, we never lose sight of why you chose Prescott: clean air, ponderosa pine trails, kayaking on Watson Lake and Lynx Lake, and sunsets behind Granite Mountain. Our home construction process ensures your house is oriented to capture these moments: morning light in your kitchen, sunset views from your patio, or quick access to downtown. It’s a process rooted in place and designed around your life.
